Our Private GP Consultation is a personalised healthcare service that offers direct access to a qualified GP in a private setting. Our experienced and qualified doctors provide comprehensive medical advice, diagnosis, and treatment plans tailored to your needs. By choosing Wells, you can skip the waiting times and receive high-quality medical care, including same-day referrals and comprehensive consultations.
What it includes
- Extensive examination and testing conducted by a doctor
- Full history review of medical complaints past and present
- Comprehensive physical examination, including top-to-toe assessment. Optional breast examination.
- Measurement of BMI, blood pressure, heart rate, respiratory rate, and oxygen saturation
- Complete range of blood tests, if required. This includes cholesterol, blood sugar, kidney and liver function, hormone levels, vitamin D, folate, iron, gout test, and calcium (charged separately).
- Results are in digital or hard copy format, with detailed explanations. Your Wells doctor will provide additional notes on suggested lifestyle changes, recommendations for monitoring biomarkers, and guidance on further investigations, if necessary.
- A follow-up appointment can be made at a discounted rate to discuss ongoing care.

No, you can book a consultation directly with us.
There is no registration as such, just book an Extended GP Consultation and bring photo ID with you to your first appointment.
Appointments are typically 20 minutes long, but this can vary depending on the nature of the consultation. For new patients wanting to discuss their medical history in detail, have extensive past medical problems or complex health concerns, we recommend a 40-minute appointment.
We will update your NHS GP on your progress if required.
